David Springer, assistant physician at the Center for Virology of the Medical University of Vienna, received a Poster Award at the 27th Annual Meeting of the European Society of Clinical Virology (ESCV). The presented study, entitled “Co-infection patterns among respiratory viruses: epidemiological evidence for viral interference”, investigates the extent to which the co-circulation of respiratory viruses – including SARS-CoV-2, influenza, RSV, and others – influences each other.
